College Facilities

Trinity Catholic College has extensive, well established facilities within its two campuses.

These include:

  • two comprehensive libraries and Resource Centres
  • large Hall
  • specialist Music Rooms
  • specialist Visual Arts Rooms
  • Computer laboratories
  • Drama Room
  • outdoor Basketball and Tennis Court
  • two Technology blocks which include workrooms for Woodwork, Power Mechanics, Metal Engineering, Hospitality, Textiles, Design and Graphics, Engineering Science, Computer Rooms, Technical Drawing Rooms, Computer Aided Design area and Electronics Room
  • Chapel
  • Religious Education Resource Centres.

These modern facilities enable the College to offer students a full range of experiences and technological subjects using up-to-date equipment.

Technology

The Technology facilities at Trinity Catholic College are some of the most modern and extensive amongst schools in NSW. All computers on both Campuses are connected to the internet and have access to a range of the latest computer software. Technology is spread across all of the Key Learning Area including: Technological and Applied Studies, Human Society and Its Environment, Science and both Campus Libraries.

On the Auburn Campus the centrepiece of Technology is the Technology building which houses both the design and resource areas. The design area is outfitted together with tables for planning and banks for computer facilities. This area is surrounded by workshop for: Wood, Metals, Engineering, Power Mechanics, Hospitality, Food Technology, Textiles, Engineering and Design Graphics. All of the areas have computers integrated into the rooms where necessary.

Associated facilities in another building include: Two Computer Laboratories, a Technical Drawing room, a Computer Aided Design (CAD) area and an Electronics room. In addition to the facilities used by the Technological and Applied Studies Department, the Campus has four other Computer Laboratories including two associated with the Resource Centre.

On the Regents Park Campus there are two Computer Laboratories as well as banks of computers in Science Laboratories and in the Library.
