Extra-Curricular Activities in Secondary School
Beyond the classroom, the College offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities. Participation in sporting, cultural and other extra-curricular activities provides an opportunity for Toongabbie Christian College students to extend their gifts and talents while learning the skills of team work and leadership.
This program varies from year to year, but may include:
- Sport
- Music and the Performing Arts
- Concert Bands, Dance Troupe, Chapel Band, Cultural and performing experiences
- Art competitions
- Student Leadership Opportunities
- Camp/Outdoor Education programs
Sport Opportunities
- Competitive Inter School Sport teams including Volleyball, Netball, Soccer, Basketball and Tourch Football – Students have the opportunity to trial for inclusion in these teams, which play on Tuesday afternoons with other schools in our zone
- Students also compete in CSSA and CIS level Gala days for AFL, Cricket, Futsal, OzTag, Tennis and Beach Touch Football
- Many students also have the opportunity to participate in CIS trials for Baseball, Hockey, Rugby League and Softball
- TCC regularly achieves outstanding results in Zone and State Level Swimming, Cross Country, Triathlon and Athletics
- We offer a leadership development plan for House prefects
