At Toongabbie Christian College, we understand the innate call placed on our lives, as Christians, to be the hands and feet of Jesus. This is reiterated throughout scripture, as Christ continually calls on His people to care for one another:
“And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8 (NIV)
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves, not looking at your own interests but each of you to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4 (NIV)
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute … defend the rights of the poor and needy.” Proverbs 31:8-9 (NIV)
It is our heartfelt desire that each and every student at Toongabbie Christian College is encouraged to consider their responsibility to those around them; to love our neighbours, care for those in need and reach those who are lost. In all that we do, we are committed to seeing the outworking of God’s faithfulness in our community and beyond and invite our students to play a crucial role.
We are proud to partner with both local and global ministries to see this come to fruition.
